An inmate at the Big Sandy federal prison in Martin County pleads not guilty to assaulting a special agent.

Marshall Williams was indicted last week and entered a not guilty plea to charges that he forcibly assaulted a U.S. Secret Service special agent while he was in the prison.

Williams allegedly had a shank.

If convicted of the two charges, it would add six more years on his sentence.
