Corbin businessman will pay thousands in gambling debt

A Corbin businessman has to pay his gambling debt in Indiana even though he was drunk.

The News Journal reports 66-year-old Jim Vance must pay Caesars Indiana the money owed plus eight percent in interest.

Court records say Vance played Blackjack at the casino in September of 2004 and signed for loans totaling 75-thousand dollars.

Vance claimed he should not have to pay the debt because he was too drunk to know he was opening a line of credit.
