Sentencing is postponed for a Johnson County constable who pleaded guilty to drug charges.

Terry Eugene Ward pleaded guilty earlier this month to four counts of doctor shopping and was supposed to be sentenced Friday.

However, in court, his attorney said Ward is in rehab and asked if he could finish rehab before being sentenced.

The judge agreed and re-scheduled it for August 6th.

The commonwealth's attorney is requesting he be banned from holding public office.
