WYMT Severe Weather Alert

More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

Boil water advisories issued for several areas in Pike County

Officials with the Mountain Water District have issued a boil water advisory for the following areas until further notice:

Peyton's Creek
Powell's Creek
Red Creek
Winwright Road
Marrowbone Creek and All Side Hollows
Elkhorn City
Greasy Creek
Ferrell's Creek
Feds Creek to Nigh Bridge and along U.S. 460 to the Virginia State Line
Big Creek
Raccoon Creek
Slone's Branch
Jimmies Creek
Harless Creek
Daniels Creek
Pompey
