A Breathitt County family is in morning after their 18 year old son died Tuesday night.
According to a friend, Joshua Harmon of the River Caney area was riding in the back of his friend's pickup truck when he somehow fell out and hit his head on the pavement. People that knew him say he died just minutes after doing something he loved, helping others.
"He had so many ambitions about what he was gonna do in life. I guess like every young kid does, but he would have. I know for sure would have fulfilled them, would have lived them out," said Lonnie Neace, Harmon's Step-Father.
"If I could, I would trade Josh places because he loved everybody in this town and on this creek," said Steve Neace.
Joshua also worked as a cashier at the Wal-Mart in Perry County. Wednesday, staff there put up a wreath to honor his memory.
We did speak with the coroner in Breathitt County and he says the death does appear to be purely accidental, however autopsy results are still pending.
