Sister's Death Inspires Short Film By EKU Professor

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - A short film by an Eastern Kentucky
University professor will debut tomorrow at The Kentucky Theater in
Lexington.
John Fitch is the producer and director of the 13-minute film,
"Just Yesterday." It was inspired by his family's struggle to
cope with the death of his sister.
Twenty-one-year-old Andra Dawn Fitch was nine months pregnant
when she was killed in a traffic accident. She was killed
instantly, but her baby survived.
John Fitch says he hopes to honor his sister by telling a
meaningful story.
The film has been entered into several film festivals and will
be shown at EKU later this fall.
