Mother Demands Bus Driver Fired After "Huge Mistake"

Three year old Donovan Blevins was dropped off the school bus. Regulations state a child of that age must be physically passed along to a daycare worker but that didn't happen. Instead Donovan was left unattended until another bus driver noticed him waiting at the abandoned building knocking on the door.

Donavon's mother, Diana Blevins, says, "that is their job to make sure my little boys hand gets handed to someone else. I just don't understand how they could have done that!"

Blevins says her son's daycare center had been moved to another location more than two weeks ago; a new location which the driver had been dropping Donovan off at up until Monday.

"He just happened to drop off my kid by himself at the old daycare and goes directly to the new location and drop off three more kids," Blevins said.

Blevins says she can't believe it happened to her son because he has allergies so bad, if he had gotten stung he'd have to go to hospital.

Thankfully, none of that happened but Blevins says it could have and may in the future if something isn't done.

27NEWSFIRST also contacted the bus garage for a comment from the driver but he has not returned our phone call.
