Teens allegedly attack deputies

Johnson County teens allegedly become violent when police try to take them to social services.

Police arrested the step-father, 40-year-old Jackie McCarty on three counts of endangering a minor.

McCarty was allegedly under the influence and not caring for the children.

When police tried to take the teens out of the home, police say they became extremely violent by fighting and biting the deputies.

The juveniles were armed with several razor blades, a screw driver and a blunt metal object.

They were transferred to Boyd County Juvenile Detention Center and face assault charges.
