Four indicted on vote buying charges

Four people accused of being involved in a vote buying scheme during the May 18 primary election in Perry County are indicted by a federal grand jury.

The Hazard Herald reports Pearl Combs Junior., Michael Ray Combs, Lewis "Cuz" Baker and Charles Marvin Herald are charged with unlawfully paying or offering to pay for voting in an election held in part to select a candidate for an office seat in the United States senate.

The four will make their first court appearance August 23rd in London.
