The final show of the summer season at Jenny Wiley Theatre premieres Saturday night.
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is based on the biblical story about Jacob's favorite son, Joseph. After Joseph receives a new, colorful, coat from his father, his jealous brothers sell him into slavery.
The musical follows Joseph's rise from the depths of slavery to prominence in the kingdom.
"It's a fun way of telling the bible story of Joseph. I think people will leave here clapping with a smile on their face," Jon Satrom, who plays Joseph, said.
"It's such a colorful fun story. Every song is in a different style, different musical style. It's really funny, got a great cast that's so talented," Emily Mattheson, who plays the Narrator, said.
The show premieres Saturday night at 8:15, and runs through the end of the season in mid-August.
