Plane makes emergency landing at London-Corbin Airport

A pilot goes unresponsive in the air and a passenger with minimal flying experience is forced to land the plane.

It happened in Laurel County around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon at the London-Corbin Airport.

Emergency officials tell Mountain News that a plane has made an emergency landing at the London-Corbin Airport after the pilot collapsed at the controls.

We're told the plane was a two seater cessna with two people on board.

The passenger of the plane took over and was able to safely land the aircraft.

The pilot's condition is not known at this time.
