Accident Reported at Wayne County, West Virginia mine

A man had to be flown to a local hospital after an accident at a mine late Tuesday night.

911 Dispatchers in Wayne County, West Virginia say the call came in shortly after 11 p.m. from the Ben Haley Mine on Route 37.

At this time, information surrounding the accident has not been released.

Crews from Lincoln County assisted in the accident with the Wayne Fire Department.
