Accident closes Somerset road Thursday morning

A Southern Kentucky road was closed Thursday morning after an SUV flipped over.

Somerset Police say no one was hurt when the vehicle flipped into a pole, near the old post office and library.

It took crews a while to get the vehicle upright and an electrical crew from Kentucky Utilities had to check out the pole to make sure it was ok.

Police say the driver of the SUV was later charged with DUI.
