BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Police identified and arrested a woman accused of stealing a purse with thousands of dollars in it.
Barbourville police arrested 24-year-old Julie Osbourne of London.
Police say Saturday night, surveillance video caught her stealing an employee's purse at the shell station on 25E in Barbourville.
The purse had $3,000 in it. Police say the employee had just cashed her income tax return check.
Police say they recovered $1,201 on Wednesday.
Osbourne faces theft charges.
