Agriculture, law enforcement joining for programs

BENTON, Ky. (AP) - Representatives from the law enforcement and
agriculture communities are joining to produce a couple of programs
specifically for farmers next week in western Kentucky.

The Kentucky State Police/Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
Division and the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension
Service are providing the farmer outreach forum in Benton and
Dixon.

Topics being covered include safety regulations, licensing
requirements, driver qualifications and new legislation in effect
for Kentucky farm operations.

The Benton meeting will be at 7 p.m. CST Monday at the Marshall
County Extension Office, and the Dixon meeting will be at 6 p.m.
CST Tuesday at the Webster County Cooperative Extension Office.
