Students in Whitley County will have a few more days of summer vacation, because of the ongoing construction at the high school.
The school year was supposed to start Tuesday, now it will start Thursday.
School officials say cool air was not flowing through the whole building, so they decided to delay the start of school until it was.
Officials said by late Tuesday afternoon, the system was nearly fully functional.
