AMBER Alert canceled after Hart Co. child found safe

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - UPDATE: Officials have canceled the AMBER Alert for Jaylynn Maxey. State police say was found safe and unharmed. Her father and suspect in a Bullitt County bank robbery, Joshua Yeager, has been taken to Hardin Hospital.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a two year old Kentucky girl.

Officials say Jaylynn Maxey could be with her father Joshua Yeager near Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Law Enforcement believes the child is in danger by staying with the non-custodial parent.

Officials do not know where he is headed but Yeager has family in Indiana.

Jaylynn Maxey was last seen wearing a black and pink tank top with white sandals. She could also be wearing a white and yellow polka dot top with white pants.

Joshua Yeager is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and green plaid shorts. They could be in a 2000 Maroon Ford Taurus.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kentucky State Police Headquarters at 1-502-574-7111.
