It's hard to believe we are just two months away from Christmas!

That means it's time for the Festival of Appalachian Arts and Crafts at the Middlesboro Mall.

This is the seventh year for the event, and mall organizers consider it a kickoff to the holiday shopping season in the Cumberland Valley, not to mention the fair also shows off the culture of Appalachia.

"We get a lot of folks that travel to come to this show as well just a lot of unique gift ideas here that you cannot get at a retail store," said Charles Burchfield, with Middlesboro Mall.

The craft fair runs through Sunday.
