The BP gas station on Route 321 in Prestonsburg was the target of two armed robbers around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
"A male and female entered the business, demanded cash. One of the two parties brandished a firearm," said KSP Trooper Shaun Little.
Bettina Lemaster was working overnight and says it all happened so fast she was just in shock.
"At first I thought it was just a prank you know because the voice was real familiar," she said.
Surveillance video shows the pair enter the building, and the man pulls what appears to be a gun.
"I just tried to comply with them just give them their money because he acted like he was really nervous, and I knew if I did anything to make him any worse that it could have been worse," said Bettina.
The amount of money the robbers got away with is unknown. They also took several packs of cigarettes before running away.
Bettina says she has always known working overnights could mean trouble.
"It's one of those risks you take working so you kind of, it's kind of always in the back of your mind. Probably make me a little jumpy, little more cautious definitely. But I ain't going to be terrified or scared," she said.
