Arraignment scheduled for DUI suspect accused in crash involving UK players

A young man accused of driving drunk and crashing into an SUV carrying two UK basketball players is scheduled to answer to the charges in court Tuesday.

Police say Scott Roseberry, 22, had been drinking before going the wrong way on high street, hitting a Cadillac Escalade near Euclid Avenue early last Friday.

After the crash, Stacey Poole and Terrence Jones went to the hospital to be checked out for minor injuries.

Coach John Calipari says Jones left the scene of the accident to avoid a confrontation with Roseberry.

Neither Poole nor Jones face charges.

However, Coach Cal has imposed a curfew on the team.

Monday, it was announced Poole is leaving the team.

Cal tweeted that he wished the sophomore guard well.

Poole was seeking more playing time.

He came out of high school rated the number 33 player in the country but averaged under three minutes.
