ASHLAND, Ky. (WYMT/WOWK) - There are new developments about a novelty shop raided last week by Ashland Police for synthetic drugs.
Major Todd Kelley said that police have now issued an arrest warrant for the owner, Yvonda Nichols.
Police said Nichols ran Dark Wings on 29th Street in Ashland, where they confiscated a large amount of synthetic marijuana, cash, and a handgun.
They also seized computers and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they did not close the store, although it has not been open for several days.
The store is in a residential neighborhood, and people there said they suspected something was going on.
Ashland Police are investigating.
