Ashland police investigating armed robbery at gas station

From sister station WSAZ:

An armed robbery has been reported at an Ashland gas station.

It was called in shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Marathon station along Winchester Avenue.

Dispatchers say it was reported two men, both with skull masks on, came into the store with a knife and robbed employees.

The men were reported to have taken off on foot behind the store toward 19th Street.

Dispatchers say it was reported that one of the suspect's may have a head injury.

There was no word if the suspects got away with anything.
