RADCLIFF, Ky. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 25-year-old woman they believe was hit by several vehicles on a highway in Radcliff, Ky.

Hardin County deputy coroner John Clemens told The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/QZ7lyP) that Beverly Jeter of Elizabethtown was hit in the southbound lanes of Dixie Highway around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Emergency officials tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clemens said Jeter's bicycle was at the scene, but it was not clear if she was riding it or walking with it.

He said she died from multiple blunt force trauma, which leads investigators to believe she was hit by more than one vehicle.
