Crews investigating school bus crash in Knox County

5:30pm Update:

LYNN CAMP, Ky. (WYMT) - Investigators say weather played a role in a Knox County school bus wreck Wednesday afternoon.

No one was injured in the crash.

It happened shortly after three at the intersection of 830 and old 25.

Deputies say bus number 411 from Lynn Camp school pulled into the intersection in front of a truck.

The truck hit the bus and went down an embankment.

School officials say 27 students were on board and another bus took them home after EMS checked them out.

Deputies say the truck driver was also not injured.

LYNN CAMP, Ky. (WYMT) - Officials tell us a bus has been involved in a crash, but no kids are injured.

Officials say the school bus leaving Lynn Camp school was involved in the crash at the junction of 830 and old 25.

Police say it involves a truck, but no other details are available.

Knox County school leaders say 27 students were on board, but no injures were reported.

Another bus is on the way to pick up the students and school officials are notifying the students parents.
