A man is dead after hitting a semi head-on along Interstate 75.
The crash happened Monday morning in Whitley County. Police say the man was driving the wrong way - southbound in the northbound lanes - at exit 25, when his truck slammed into a semi.
We're told the driver of the pickup truck is from Virginia. The driver of the semi was treated and released at a local hospital.
At this point, investigators say it doesn't appear drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
The interstate was shutdown for a large part of the morning, but is back open now.
