We continue to follow a developing story out of Breathitt County.
Police tell Mountain News five people were injured in a shooting overnight.
It happened on Highway 30 West.
State police say the gunman was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds where he later died.
Neighbors tell us than man was Danny Johnson.
Police also tell us a trooper received a buckshot to the face but has non-life threatening injures.
We're told two Breathitt sheriff's deputies were also shot. They are expected to be ok.
We are told two other people were shot as well. but their injuries are non life threatening.
