Band members & Junior ROTC continue working on fundraising for Presidential Inauguration Parade

WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - The Letcher Central Band and Junior ROTC are still hard at work trying to raise money for the Presidential Inauguration Parade that will take place in less than 10 days.

Assistant Band Director Dan Brennan says the band needs around 75 to 80-thousand dollars for the trip.
So far they have raised around 55-thousand dollars.
The band will host an exhibition January 15 at 7pm at Letcher Central High School.

There will be a chili dinner for $5 a person, with funds going to the band's trip.

The band will also perform the parade music they will play at the inaugural parade.
