BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) -
A Bell County Forestry Camp prison employee pleaded not guilty to rape charges on Tuesday.
State police arrested 28-year-old Tasha Knuckles last month.
Police say she had a sexual relationship with an inmate, which is not allowed.
The judge set a preliminary hearing for January 21st.
A Bell County Forestry Camp prison employee faces a rape charge.
State police say Tasha Knuckles, 28, of Frakes was having a sexual relationship with an inmate at the camp.
Troopers started investigating in May when forestry camp officials contacted KSP Post 10.
During the investigation police say they found more than 50 hours of phone conversations between Knuckles and the inmate.
Troopers arrested Knuckles on Friday. She is in the Bell County Detention Center.
