Bell County fugitive arrested

MIDDLESBORO, Ky.(WYMT)-The hunt for a man who did not show up for his sentencing in Bell County is over. Jail officials say Wilburn Partin was arrested yesterday.

Prosecutors say in December, Partin pleaded guilty to charges in an assault case. Police say in July of last year Partin stabbed his girlfriend's father Larry Barlow.

Investigators say Partin and his girlfriend were fighting when Barlow tried to break it up.

The Bell County Commonwealth's Attorney suggested a 10 year sentence for the plea.

A judge will sentence him February 15th.
