BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Bell County Rescue Squad is getting some money to help with search and rescue efforts.
Monday morning, the fiscal court announced the Bell County Rescue Squad got a grant for $3,695.36.
Officials say this is much needed to help life-saving measures in the county.
"The Rescue Squad does a tremendous job and they do a great service for the taxpayer and they got a grant that will help tremendously with their search and rescue efforts," said Ben Barnett, Bell County Emergency Management Director.
Officials say the rescue squad is getting the money as early as this week.
