Bell County woman killed crossing East Tennessee highway

JACKSBORO, Tn. (WYMT/WVLT) - An Eastern Kentucky woman was killed after she was hit by a vehicle while she was crossing the road late Tuesday night, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol reports.

Terenia Grubbs, of Middlesboro, was crossing U.S. Highway 25W, near Eagle Circle in Jacksboro shortly after 11:00 p.m. when she reportedly stepped in front of the vehicle, which may have been a white pickup.

The vehicle that struck her did not stop.
