A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Eastern Kentucky through Friday morning. Heavy rain is possible through Friday as a strong storm system moves through the mountains. Flash Flooding is likely during this time. Remember if you come across a flooded roadway to turn around and don't drown. Keep it with WYMT for the latest.
A benefit concert is planned to help Laurel County storm victims.
Dale Ann Bradley, Mike Parker and The Wilderness Trail and America's Funniest Professor Carl Hurley will be performing Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at North Laurel High School.
All money raised will go to schools in the area, and it will be given to students who were displaced from the tornado.
"We soon learned that there were 100 students displaced after the storm in their school district, so I reached out to Jimmy Duram and said 'I want to put something together,'" said Connie Hunt.
Tickets are $10 a person, and you can pay at the door.
If you plan on watching the UK and Louisville game, Connie Hunt says there will still be plenty of entertainment going on after the game.
You can also come by and donate at any time.
