Bio-energy company reviews Whitley County site for possible plant

CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - A Bio-energy company is looking for a site to build a plant which processes sugar beets into fuel and Whitley County might be the place.

The Times Tribune reports that Patriot Bio-energy Corporation already has more than 20 acres of energy beats growing in Whitley County and is now looking at a Corbin business park for the plant.

Patriot CEO Roger Ford says the original site near Williamsburg does not have the infrastructure and highway access the company desires.
