9:30pm Update:

Police have identified the victim as 42 year old Bobby King, Jr. of Evarts.

A man was killed while doing construction at a home in Perry County.

Police tell Mountain News a Harlan man was operating a fork lift when it lost traction and flipped over.

It happened on Valhalla Lane around noon Friday.

When the home owners heard the crash, they ran out to find the man in a ditch.

"The equipment was overturned and like I said he was partially ejected and it appears that part of the cab landed on him and caused his injuries." Chief Deputy Tony Eversole from the Perry County sheriff's department said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Perry County coroner.

The victim worked with Bluegrass Materials out of Pikeville.

His name has not been released.
