A boil water advisory is in effect for hundreds of customers in Harlan County.
Officials tell Mountain News a main water line ruptured Wednesday afternoon and they are working to repair it.
The entire area of Wallins Creek in Harlan County, including much of the surrounding area, starting at Silk Stocking Road and ending at the Vanderport Pump Station need to boil their water until further notice.
