Bridge from Kentucky into Indiana closed because of crack

A bridge from Kentucky into Indiana has been closed due to a crack.

The Sherman-Minton Bridge carries I-64 from downtown Louisville to New Albany, Indiana.

Officials say it's closed indefinitely due to a critical crack in the structure.

State officials are asking drivers to use Interstate 65 and 265 as alternate routes.

The bridge was built back in 1961.
