Perry County, Ky. Buckhorn School students celebrated the 226th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution.
Students with the school's Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps organized the assembly.
It included a ceremonial flag-folding, explaining the meanings behind each of the thirteen folds of the American Flag.
A prayer and a moment of silence were also included as part of the ceremony.
School staff hope this celebration reminds students not to take the Constitution for granted.
"A lot of times people take it to be a God-given right or a birthright," said Buckhorn High School Army Instructor Mark Morgan. "But not realize that somebody paid a price to make sure that we are allowed to keep these rights that are entitled to us."
