Budget cuts lead three Lee County, Virginia schools to close

Budget cuts here have led to the closing of three schools in Lee County, Virginia.

The Middlesboro Daily News reports officials with the school board recently voted to close elementary schools in Ewing, Keokee and Stickleyville.

Officials say the closings will save the district about $61,000 dollars a year.
