CPE officials approve tuition hikes at several Kentucky colleges

The state Council on Post Secondary Education blames state funding cuts for tuition hikes at Kentucky colleges.

Council members approved several tuition hikes during a meeting Thursday.

The increases range from nearly four percent a KCTCS to six percent at UK and U of L.

The hikes will take effect during the upcoming school year.
