WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A man wanted in California was arrested in Letcher County.
Deputies say 51-year old Larry Humphrey is a convicted felon and registered sex offender.
Workers at a hair salon in Whitesburg called police after becoming suspicious when they say Humphrey brought in a young boy dressed in girl’s clothes.
Humphrey was arrested in the parking lot and taken to the Letcher County Jail.
Deputies say the child and three others with Humphrey's wife were placed in the custody of social services.
