LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Central Kentucky congressman-elect Andy Barr has named a Capitol Hill veteran to be his chief of staff.
Barr told the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Monday he has chosen Betsy Hawkings to lead his team.
Hawkings has worked in Washington for more than twenty years and has served three other Republican members of Congress.
We are told she has family ties to Eastern Kentucky.
