Car crash blamed on dangerous roads

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Police say dangerous roads played a big part in a wreck Monday afternoon.

Perry County Sheriff's Deputies say a black Ford Explorer collided with a coal truck at the intersection of Campbell's Branch Road and Clear Fork Road.

The driver of the coal truck says the Explorer pulled out in front of him, causing him to slam into the side.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but both drivers are expected to be okay.
