HAROLD, Ky. (WSAZ) -- One person is dead after the car she was riding in collided with a deer.
Kentucky State Police say the accident happened at 9:47 a.m. Saturday.
Police say Henry Hamilton Jr., 65, was driving west on KY Route 680 when a deer crossed the road. Hamilton's Buick LeSabre hit the deer, which then deflected into the path of another car traveling east, driven by Robert Harper, 60.
Police say the deer went through the windshield of Harper's car striking the passenger, Ardith Harper, 59, killing her.
No word of the conditions of the other people involved.
State police are continuing their investigation.
