Caretaker pleads not guilty to murder

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The caretaker, accused of murdering the 75-year-old man she was supposed to be looking after, was in court in Knox County Thursday morning.

Charlene Sue King pleaded not guilty to the murder of Earl Carter.

Police say King shot and killed Carter in his Knox County home.

The judge reduced her bond to $200,000.

King will be back in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
