LEE Co., Ky. (WYMT) - For 100 years one camp in Lee County has helped kids find faith.

Decades later the Cathedral Domain Camp continues to change little hearts.

Cindy Sigmon is the program director.

"It's the opportunity to serve God in my opinion because this is where a lot of people relate to God," said Cindy Sigmon.

Since he was nine years old Andy Sigmon has called the Cathedral Domain Camp home.

A centerpiece for hope, Andy Sigmon explains how strong spirituality can be.

The 800 acre property gives nonprofit organizations a place to thrive.

Including Jerry and Wendy Marcec who founded Camp Hope.

"Eight years ago we started Camp Hope. Hope stands for helping our planet earth," said Wendy Marcec.

Decades later Andy Sigmon is now the camp director and trying to soften little hearts.

"That's what we're doing," said Andy Sigmon. "You know, making a difference in the world one kid at a time."

He is accomplishing this goal by providing a place for future generations to lay their hearts at the cross.
