Kicking, dragging, and even using a cattle prod on a dog is all caught on tape in Harlan County.

The cell phone video led state police to file charges against Henry E. Brock, 50, of Bledsoe.

Now the video is on YouTube for anyone to see.

The video posted on YouTube shows a man kicking, stomping, and dragging a border collie. A cattle prod is even used to shock it.

Alexis Brock says she made the video last summer and claims it is her ex-husband Henry Brock beating their dog at their home in Harlan County.

"I don't remember exactly what went through my mind. I just know it was horrible," said Alexis Brock.

Alexis Brock says the ten year old dog did not like being on a chain, and that led to the alleged abuse.

"He just started beating it," said Alexis Brock.

Alexis Brock, who no longer lives in Harlan County, gave the cell phone video to family members who took it to State Police in March.

"After reviewing the video with the county attorney and detective, there was enough evidence to warrant an arrest warrant for Mr. Brock," said Trooper Shane Jacobs.

State police charged Henry Brock with "torture of a dog with serious injury" which is a felony. He was arrested in March.

"He needs to be stopped before he hurts other animals or people," said Alexis Brock.

Police and animal control officers took the dog into custody and to the vet last month. Officials say the dog is okay now.

Henry Brock has bonded out of jail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next week.
