Chargers for Southeastern Kentucky sheriff's department could be part of recall

Several new police cruisers in Whitley County could be part of a nationwide recall.

The Corbin News Journal reports five Dodge Chargers currently in use by the sheriff's department could be on the recall list, due to problems with brakes and headlights.

Chrysler, Dodge's parent company, announced the recall earlier this week.

Sheriff Colan Harrell told the paper the Chargers he has might be affected by the recall, but he has not been informed of it by the company yet.
