Charges dropped against alleged shooter

Assault charges are dropped against a Perry County man who shot his father.

Ronald Clark was arrested last year for allegedly shooting his father with a shotgun.

In April, Ronald pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-degree criminal mischief.

Commonwealth's Attorney Teresa Reed Combs says the charges were amended because his father Ronnie says he shot at Ronald first and that it would have been hard to convict Ronald.
