HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Organizers said the fifth annual Crocketsville concert and trail ride in Breathitt County was a huge success.
Officials said the money raised this year will go to several different organizations. Checks were presented today at Hazard City Hall.
The Buckhorn Children's Center also received a ceremonial check for $515,000 they have received since the event started. They said it is much needed after funding cuts.
“It under guards our budget and keeps the staff and the volunteers working with the kids able to maintain our ministries to kids from Appalachia as well as some kids from outside of Appalachia,” said Former President David Graves of the Buckhorn Children's Center.
The center provides residential treatment programs and care for young people ages 12 to 17.
