Severe weather looks likely later this afternoon. The best chances appear to be between 3 p.m. and Midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado or two are possible. The area at the greatest risk for severe weather in eastern Kentucky is in the Cumberland Valley, near the I-75 corridor. Keep it locked here for updates.
A child has been flown to the hospital after being run over by a truck!
The accident happened around 10pm Friday night along Highway 421 in Clay County.
The sheriff tells us the child somehow fell out of a moving truck and the father then backed over the child.
The child has been flown to the UK Medical Center.
There's no word on a condition.
